Looking for an Equipment Engineer based out of Lewis Center, Ohio responsible for assisting in determining, ordering, and overseeing the integration of Cell Site equipment and peripherals. Average Yearly Compensation: $47,500 to $56,000 - Based on Skills and Experience

Additional Responsibilities:
• Engineering power systems, batteries, telecom interconnect equipment, ALU eNBs, Nortel BTS equipment and other miscellaneous items that may be defined in the future
• Work with the RFQ, PO, and equipment ordering process
• Work closely with all engineering groups within our network team including RF design, real estate, construction, operations, and system performance
• Work closely with vendors to integrate the equipment on schedule in a cost effective process
• Initiates and coordinates the investigation, test and evaluation of new cost effective equipment
• Provides input for budget and implementation of regional and Area planning
Strong project management skills
• Responsible for project managing multiple projects concerning the capital build plan
• Projects will include but not be limited to: LTE deployments, AWS RRH deployments, Sectorizations, New Builds, MW adds, Generator additions, Battery/Power jobs, etc.
• Develop methods/procedures for equipment tracking and Cell Site equipment design layout
• Work/interact closely with the engineer facilities circuit design position
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure vendor payment utilizing PeopleSoft
• Equipment Procurement & Optimization
o Ensure optimum equipment utilization and efficiency
o Oversee equipment installation and acceptance
• Project Management

Required Skills:
• ASSOCIATES DEGREE is required
• Proficient in People Soft purchasing application
• Strong organizational skills are a must
• Experience in the wireless industry is a must
• Work independently and work well within the team.
• Candidate must have experience with Lucent Switches
• Experience and proficiency in Xpercom and Watchmark are desired
• Must be self motivated and have ability to complete tasks with little supervision
• Strong Project Management and Communication skills with the ability to work closely with Team members
• Telecommunications experience
• Previous experience with Project/Construction Management of Mobile Networks
• Proficiency in Xpercom desired
• Experience with ALU Enb equipment

Preferred Experience and Education:
• PMP preferred
• Knowledge of Autocad preferred
• Knowledge of project management tools a plus
• Technical knowledge of Nortel Base Stations a plus
• Experience in managing budgets and peoplesoft skills a plus.
