Description:

Dear Hiring Manager,

It’s not about me, but about what I can do for your company. I’ll tell you why I’ll be an outstanding Avaya/Voice/Telecommunications Engineer for your company.

At my last position with CSC, a Fortune 150 company, I was a Telecommunications Engineer for THREE Network Management Systems (NMSs) and frankly I performed well. Testament: I for each of the 10 years I worked there, I received 10-consecutive performance/merit-based awards resulting in 10-consecutive pay raises.

I’ve also served in the top enlisted telephone systems position in the USAF for four years as Chief, Telephone Systems, performing staff work at Headquarters (HQ) Air Force Communications Agency (AFCA) in Scott Air Force Base (AFB), IL. To perform in this position, one has to be a Chief Master Sergeant (CMSgt) - a congressionally reserved rank for only the top 1% of the enlisted force. Moreover, I was selected for promotion at a few days past 17 years total service – nearly seven years ahead of the average!

In addition to my 10.5 years as a systems engineer, in the USAF, I’ve worked in every position related to telephony/telephone inside plant – from technician, supervisor, superintendent, branch chief, to the aforementioned top enlisted position. My telecommunications experience is broad and in-depth!

I also have three degrees (BA and two AAS), two certifications – one is the highly coveted Avaya Certified Support Specialist (ACSS) – Unified Communications (UC) – System and Session Managers, and a multitude of top-notch training.

Finally, with this vast and in-depth telecommunications experience, I hold in high esteem the customer and ensuring their TOTAL satisfaction while also bolstering and rewarding the #1 resource of any company – the employees.
